Stop Explaining Yourself.
Stop explaining yourself to others: Reclaiming Your Power
Do you think that you need to justify and explain everything you did or are going to do? 'No,' you shouldn't. Have you ever noticed that close ones in our lives also do not genuinely listen to what we share with them? Explaining yourself doesn't make others understand you well. But one thing happens. Your energy is getting drained. And you are stuck in a loop of overthinking.
Personally, I don't like to explain about myself. If he/she wants to judge me by their point of view, that doesn't matter to me. Because I'm not depending on others personal ideas. When I was a kid, I cared about my friends, relations, and outsiders a lot. I was afraid that they were going to judge me. If something happened, I used to explain every single detail about me. Since my childhood, my thinking pattern was also different from others. I critically thought a lot, and I wanted to try everything with my own perspectives. All my attempts weren't nice. Then I used to explain to my friends why I chose that method. But after getting mature, I realized that I should stay silent. Because my perspectives are different from others. Personally, I possess a stubborn, cold attitude. At the same time, I behave nicely with others. It depends on the way they treat me. Usually I'm a nice person. Then some of my friends questioned me about my personality. They were amazed at how I handle both kind and rude people I meet in my life. Then why should I explain about myself to others? They may think that I'm self-boasting about myself; some may appreciate or some may criticize. Then why should I be a topic for their tea time? Sometimes we go through some situations that may not be our fault. At that time we need someone to listen and understand us. But the truth is no one cares about you. If someone loves you deeply, he/she stays with you, neglecting how bad the situation is. I understood that. We all are human, and no one is perfect. So demand your status and remember, if people truly respect you, they understand you without requiring explanations about yourself......
